Herro! Almost my last month in California... SAD! Only 3 more weeks of work left. WOHOO! And lots of weekend trips to look forward to... starting with Vegas this weekend with Miguel! This Wednesday is my procedure.... I really hope everything works out for me and others. =) I never thought I'd feel this way about this entire situation..! It has truly been an amazing experience.
I finished reading 'The Reading Group' yesterday. The book made me think about a lot of things, including a lot of worries and things that have been going on in my life. It's a book I'm not sure that most men would understand... it's really about women.. how different we all are and the bonds we have with each other. It was really eye-opening.. I related myself most with Harriet.. the woman who was seemingly unhappy, but actually was. Anyway.. a great read recommended to all women out there! =)
I've had this God awful canker sore on the left side of my tongue near the back that has made it really hard for me to chew, swallow and hardly talk. It's been horrible. These past few days I've been so hungry because I can't chow any solid food! I've been living off Jamba Juice and V8. Truly horrid. Not that I don't like Jamba Juice or V8... I actually love the stuff... but when your tummy is grumbling for a hamburger... you really want more than a glass of tomato juice! Today was the first day that it kind of let up... I can chew on the right side of my mouth and swallow without too much pain. Hopefully by tomorrow it will almost be healed.. at least I'm hoping!
Wednesday is a big day for me... hope for me that all goes well...

Busy June
Hiieee. Woke up from a nap not too long ago... I'm still sleepy! But I had to wake up and shower because Mike and I are going to his mom's birthday dinner tonight. June has been a very busy month. My sister graduated last weekend from UCLA...

That's my sister and my dad. I think it's such a hilarious picture!
We ate Indian food after her ceremony..

That is what was left of my plate after lunch. It was sooo yummy! We ate at the Gate of India in Los Angeles. We went there for Suey's birthday a month ago and it's a great restaurant! This photo was taken by the ever growing talented artist by the name of Sarah Lee. =)
I went to a going away party for Val and Mike at the Loco Cantina...

I will miss those two and all our moobee nights! Hopefully I will get a chance to visit them up in New York City... =)

Emily, me and Aaron above.

Me, Val and MLE!
It was Amy (Miguel's sister) birthday.. so we went out for dinner in Fullerton...

Mike and his sister Amy..
Last week when I was having a not so good day... Mike took me to Color Me Mine because he knew that I had been dying to go there one day... This was my final piece!

I'm quite happy with it! =) It says.. "Have sweet dreams, and follow them..."
Okay.. I've got to finish getting ready for Mike's mama's dinner... Ciao!

Back to 1 Job!
FINALLY! The day has come. Yesterday was my last day at ACCIM! I am so happy about it. I feel like such a load has been taken off my back. The stress of working 2 jobs is over and gone. THANK GOODNESS. Today I worked at the VCA, came home... watched the recording of America's Best Dance Crew, did laundry after I discovered Moose had vomited on our bed, and am now in the process of cooking up some pasta. Whew! I had a long but productive day. Moose has been vomiting a lot lately. I think I may have to take her in for some inner photos (x-rays)! Her bloodwork that I did at ACCIM came back WNL (within normal limits) and her heartworm test was negative. I don't know if it's just the change in environment and food that has her stomach all upset or what not.
Tomorrow I have my second appointment at HRC. I can't say a whole lot about this appointment here just yet... but maybe I'll explain in the near future. Hopefully everything goes well and this whole process will go smoothly.
Back to making pasta!
