Hello! It's been a while.. sorry! School is keeping me very very busy right now. Having a test every Friday is driving me a little insane. This past Friday we had one that had everybody in crazy study mode. It was a lab test on the all the muscles, veins, arteries and nerves of the dog. AND they threw in the lecture test as well on the same day! It might not sound like a lot... but if I had to list off every muscle, art/vein and nerve that I had to know... it would be more than 200 words!! Maybe even more than that! Craziness. Absolute craziness! I feel like I'm averaging out to be a 'B' student in vet school and it's kind of making me sad. It's really weird because pretty much everyone (almost) is really smart. In undergrad, half of my class was retarded! Well, not retarded... either they didn't get it, or they didn't try enough to understand. Now that I'm in grad school, everyone does well for the most part. There are no curves either.. and in a way it makes me feel kinda dumb! I don't really believe that's true. I think it's just because we're all good students and not many people are doing badly. Which is good really... I like my class for the most part. There are definitely some people I'd rather avoid, but not very many. Actually it's just this one person that I want to steer clear from. =P
After the test, Val and I went to the mall and did some serious post-test shopping!! I actually met Val before starting vet school because we had our interview on the same day. I remember talking to her while waiting for our interviews and waiting for our flights back home. She's kind of a quiet person. Super nice and very silly sometimes! =) Her birthday was actually last Wednesday and mine is coming up tomorrow, so we celebrated our birthdays together by going out to Kite's Friday night! We got totally wasted! It was an awesome night, but a not so awesome next morning. Hangovers kill mee.... I had one of the worst hangovers yesterday morning! No need to go into the gory details, but I'll tell ya. It was bad!
I don't even remember taking some of those drinks.... =/ OY!
All righty.. well since I didn't study at all yesterday due to my hangover.. must study like crazy today and tomorrow! I'm so glad we don't classes this Monday! KSU must have known it was my birthday.. haha. ;)
