Mogwai

Hi hi... this morning, I had my last test before Thanksgiving break!!! That means.. no test next Friday! wohoo! I'm so happy that we're getting a break. I think I was seriously reaching my breaking point. I don't know how much longer I could have hung on without a break. Having a test, not to mention, difficult, hard, final-like tests every week is quite burdensome and draining on the mind, body and soul!

Before my test this morning, I dropped off little Mogwai at KSU Vet Hospital for vaccines and such. After the test I went to lunch with Val, and while we were there, I got a phone call from the vet hospital.. and the 4th year student told me that she and another doctor found that Mogwai has cataracts! AND he had ear mites. =/ OY.

I hope he doesn't turn out to be this big lemon... I mean, I'm not even sure if him and Faceman are getting along... I don't know if I can keep him if Faceman and him can't make peace.

It's been a little over 2 weeks that I've had Mogwai... Faceman pretty much was open to him right away. He stopped hissing at him after only 2 days. They play sometimes, and other times it looks too aggressive so I stop them. Obviously, they only play when me or Mike monitors them.

I've never really had a kitten before... and he's so damn crazy all the time... he seems like he wants to be the dominant cat, even with me and Mike sometimes. I just worry about what he's going to end up like! =/

Faceman is my first cat and he was so easy. Of course I think I got Face when he was about 5 months old. So he had calmed down a bit... although I suspect Face always had a pretty good personality... I've played with kittens before, but Mogwai seems.. different. =/ Maybe I shouldn't have named him Mogwai. I originally named him after the Gremlin's movie. Because the old Chinese man calls him Mogwai before the new family gives him the name Gizmo. Later I found out that Mogwai means "satan"!! OY!

I'm just not sure what to do or how things will end up... I guess only time will tell...
