Herro there! I am just getting into the swing of things as a 2nd year vet student going into 2nd semester... and I'm horribly sick. I think I have the flu. Hopefully not swine flu. I don't have body aches, which is a good sign that it's not swine flu. But my nose likes to go between being completely clogged to a total running faucet. Or it's clogged AND it's a running faucet (which is it's current state right now), which I don't really understand the mechanics of how that works... OY.
On top of that, I missed class on Friday, have gotten very little studying done this weekend since I have felt like crap the whole time.. and my friend from California is flying in tonight for an interview at KSU tomorrow. I'm supposed to take her out and show her around town... but I don't know how I'm supposed to go out in public like this. Oh, and I'm supposed to work as an ambassador tomorrow from 1-6 pm. How do you like them apples?
Up until this week, I was doing great with my diet/exercise plan.. but this week I wasn't able to exercise at all b/c of this...
I am going through tissues as if I were eating french fries. I really hate being sick.

LOVE this song! It's only a few sentences over and over again.. but I do love it... it's like the happiest music video of all time. Kinda makes me feel like I should be high and drunk with happiness.
My trip to California this time was quite stressful for me. Things with family just escalated to a very very stressful level... towards the end it was fine.. but it just took a while... a lot of the time, I just wished I was back in Kansas with Mike. I know that sounds terrible, given that I hardly see my family, but.. that's how I felt. I was even fighting with Ben again, which just added to my stress level during my stay. We made up and we're fine now.. but I don't know yo. Me and Ben are just volatile! --> warning: substances may combust spontaneously anytime.
There were good parts to the trip too.. it's was just exhausting though. School starts tomorrow.. and even though I could definitely stand to be on break for longer... I'm also glad to be back.
Anyhoodles... off for now..
