Well. It's almost here. I take the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) this Thursday, December the 1st!! It is going to be such a relief to get it over with but also kind of scary at the same time. I just finished VetPrep, an online program that quizzes you through over 2800 questions that contains questions from the wee mouse to the yummy bovine. I'm not even sure what to do now that I'm done with the program. Well, I do have an idea (going through my most difficult questions), I just don't want to do it! And I have plenty of notes to read.... I just feel like I've been studying for this exam FOREVER now and I'm getting real sick of it.
A lot of the VetPrep questions have been good.... others poorly worded like this one below:
Newly formed type III collagen is eventually replaced by what permanent type of collagen?
Type III collagen is never replaced. [ Your answer ]
Type I [ Correct answer ]
Type IV
Type II
These kinds of answers drive me crazy. Of course I'm sure there will be questions like these on the real NAVLE and of course there will be better worded questions/answers that I still won't know the answer to just because I won't know it. I can't hardly believe that I graduate in less than 6 months now... CRAZY, exciting, scary and awesome all at the same time.
